When we went scouting the Andalucian countryside for the newest location of Haute Ecole we never imagined we'd ever find something as perfect as this location. It was just the right size with plenty of stables, arenas, rings, pens, and pastures, with beautiful scenery and miles of trails to top it all off. Outside everything looked beautiful, a huge garden, plenty of native flora and fauna, and gorgeous traditional architecture. The inside, however, was a whole different story. The years of wear were evident from the cieling to the floor. Wood was rotting, stone was falling away, glass was broken and dirty. Despite this drawback, we new we had found a gem; a diamond in the rough and we weren't about to pass it up, so we set out to renovate.
The interior of almost every building was gutted and redone with modern convience and comfort in mind. However, the exterior remaind virtually untouched. Much to our delight we found it to be in good condition so we were able to preserve the exquisite Spanish architecture and design which we had fallen in love with. In addition, most of the flora which covered the property was able to be left undisturbed so it could continue to enhance the beauty of the farm. When the construction was finally done we couldn't have been happier. The insides reflected those of the top stables with state of the art equipment and materials and top quality construction and design. The outside stayed true to the original traditional architecture. The property now is nothing short of exquisite and we are truly fortunate to be able to call this farm our own.
